Monday Poll: Work and the Holidays.

So Thanksgiving is finally over. For people like me the holiday weekend, was all about catching up with loved ones and the occasional trip to do some black friday shopping.

But for just a few minutes, I will be honest, I did look at some stuff related to work.   I logged into my computer and thought about ways of how to better the company that I work for.  I can’t help it, it’s part my nature.  I want to make money for the company I work for!  These activities lead to Monday’s poll.  So let’s be honest this holiday weekend, while you were spending time with your friends and family, did you sneak a few minutes and do something work related? Happy Thanksgiving

There will be no Friday Hangover post this week. This Friday I plan on chasing little kids down in the black friday shopping aisles with my twin brother and my sister.

Instead you get this, post. My 20 truths should of explained a bit of what I am thankful for this holiday season, but in case you missed that post, here is what I thankful for this Thanksgiving day:

I am thankful for having a job in a field that I love…Finally living close to my nephew and niece…Having a brother who is finally home…Having a father and mother who are supportive no matter what is going on in your life…Having a family dinner with entire family…My sister who is finally trying to make something of herself…Being able to wake up and know that I have extra money to do something other than go to the job…Jesse, for being an awesome friend who will answer my phone no matter what…my buddy Dusty who came and housed me when I had my flat tire on 440…Hans, who reminds me that every time I’m having a beer, he’s there in spirit…Kay Ann for listening to me bitch on those late summer nights, when I was broke…and all my other friends and family who have been supportive of me over the years! Also you the reader, you have followed me on this epic journey, thank you. Thank you, very much.
