Monday Poll: What to do with these Damn CDs?

When I moved to North Raleigh, I brought with me my CD tower. Yes, a CD tower that holds CD cases. Those things still do exist.
As I was unloading all of my stuff though, I could not feel that this was a giant tower was a bit aincient.
When I was in high school and college if I ever walked into a Best Buy I would buy a CD immediately, but those days are long over though, and I have my Iphone to thank for that. These days my phone streams Pandora radio, local radio stations, and thousands of other podcasts, which has made the CD obsolete in my eyes.
So who owns CDs these days, or buys them for that matter? In the day and age of streaming content has the CD become extinct?

Do you still buy CDs?

  1. I very seldom buy a CD but then again, what about that song that special CD that was cut years ago that is not played today and cannot be found except through ebay? Sometimes one has to buy a CD to get what they wish.

  2. I have always been one that likes to have the CD. I do download and stream music a lot but there is just something about having the CD. If a band I really like comes out with a new album, I buy the CD. It is like my personal back-up. LONG LIVE THE CD TOWER!
