Weekend Poll: When was your last upgrade?

Did you get the new Iphone yesterday? Or did you get the Evo the month before? Or are you still holding out hope that Verizon will actually get a decent smart phone?

In honor of all of the recent Smartphone mania, I decided to submit the following “unscientific” poll.

With the Iphone 4’s release, I am interested to see how many times people's phone buying habits? So how long have you had your recent phone?

  1. This past month I upgraded my phone from the very dated Samsung Alias to a new Motorola Devour with the Android OS and MotoBlur. My coverage here around Hudson has been amazing with this phone. The 3g is usually connected (except for those pesky dead zones that no phones have signal.) I love how most of the apps for the Androids are free. I am still adjusting to how the phone works as a phone, but I am loving it for everything else. The news feed, weather, facebook, email, and even pandora all readily accessible on my one device. Is it perfect? No. Is it really good? I think so.

  2. I upgraded from motorola’s razr to their sliding, semi-touchscreen rival last september. It’s a bit buggy at times and doesn’t solve quantum physics equations in a nifty lil’ app, but like the poll states, “It does it’s job.”

  3. As most of you know, I am rockin’ the Iphone 3GS, which does about almost anything.
One thing i still do not get though in the phone world is the “quarty keyboard” and slide phones. I feel if I ever had to downgrade my phone, I would have no idea of what to do, as I would want to get a flip phone.

  4. I have a touch-screen slide phone with qwerty keyboard, the Samsung Impression. Not a huge fan. Wish I could downgrade to an old flip-phone. Touch-screen was the death of phones.

  5. cole, something tells me you would adjust pretty quickly to slider phones. the qwerty keyboards are great for quick texting.
